Meta Labs is a leader in the rapidly growing science of nutraceutical research and functional natural biochemical compound extraction. (Nutraceuticals are natural compounds, ingredients, and extractions that have pharmaceutical effects.) Our nutraceutical research division provides rapid identification and development of medical grade nutraceutical compounds.  Using leading research, technology, and analysis, we are able to efficiently and effectively target potential areas of nutraceutical focus.

Our projects, extractions, formulations, and compounds are usually based on the demand for nutraceutical products driven by a growing health conscious and ageing population. At Meta Labs we seek to provide nutraceutical answers to increased chronic, lifestyle-related health problems and the rising costs of healthcare. Our goal is to add value to our customers by providing them with potential savings from preventive measures and increased consumer awareness. To meet this goal, Meta Labs is constantly researching, developing, testing, and improving formulas that use the latest discoveries in organic, natural substances.

We recognize the plant kingdom provides abundant untapped sources of biological diversity and that only 5% of its benefits have been discovered. These discovered and undiscovered resources offer a wealth of therapeutic opportunities for new nutraceutical supplements and pharmaceuticals. Meta Labs' research department identifies potential opportunities by starting with a thorough knowledge of the traditional medicinal uses of various plants. This information is then cross-checked against the results of literature searches for previously discovered biological activity, chemical constituents, and other reported medicinal uses. When Meta Labs identifies a medicinal plant for its therapeutic target, we identify and isolate a pure, active compound from the plant extract. We then develop an effective synergistic formulation to present to the market.
